One of the major issues facing the electorate of Oxley is the shortage of qualified teachers in our schools. When elected, I will make it a priority to address this issue. I will work to attract and retain talented teachers by ensuring that they are provided with good permanent jobs with fair pay and benefits. Additionally, I will advocate for the support staff in our education system to have access to good permanent jobs as well. Casualization in the education system is not a good solution. I believe that providing stable, long-term employment will lead to a more effective education system and better outcomes for students.
